At ThinkGeek, we sell awesome new and pre-loved tech and gear. That means our stuff comes with a story and a promise. Here's how we handle returns, refunds, and warranties.
Change Your Mind? No Problem (Kind Of)
- Brand-New Items → 3 days.
- Pre-Owned Items → 3 days.
We get it, sometimes you just change your mind. That’s why we offer a 3-day return window (yes, just 3 calendar days!) as a goodwill gesture for:

Items that are sealed or still in the same mint condition as when we sold them

You still have the receipt
-
You haven’t used it or unboxed it (be honest)
We’ll inspect the item first, and if everything checks out, we’ll refund you through your original payment method and provide confirmation via email.
This doesn’t apply to:

Opened games or used consoles/accessories
-
Custom or special orders (ThinkGeek Source)

Digital stuff like codes or downloads
-
Items clearly marked “no returns”
*For change-of-mind returns or exchanges, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.*
What if Something’s Wrong with It?
If your item is damaged, faulty, or not what we promised — tell us ASAP! You’ve got 15 days to report it.
Once we verify the issue:

We’ll fix it, swap it for a similar item, or refund you

If it’s really faulty, we’ll even cover the return shipping, but only after our team inspects it
Exchanges

We only exchange sealed new items returned within 3 days

No exchanges on pre-owned gear used items, opened games, or change-of-mind after unboxing
Warranty Stuff
Our products come with a warranty, just in case things go sideways.
- Brand-New Items → 12-month warranty
- Pre-Owned Items → 3-month warranty
- Consumable parts (like batteries or grips) → 30 days
What’s not covered:

Spills, drops, or rage quits

Jailbreaking/rooting gone wrong

Cosmetic wear we already told you about

DIY repairs (no screwdrivers allowed!)
If something stops working and it’s our fault, we’ll repair it, replace it, or refund you. You’ll just need to show us the receipt and let us test it.
